The Long Distance Runners’ second single, “When You Took the Sun Away,” knocks it out of the park. With the entire country in a baseball craze, they were wise enough to capitalize: check out their baseball-themed music video above.

It was directed by Mike Simms, whom the band credits for the idea. “Though it was funny,” adds guitarist Dicky Strickland, “’cause he knew nothing about baseball at the time. We thought it was timely to release a baseball themed video right around the time that Canada is going through a once-every-twenty-years baseball stupor. If the Jays lose today, our next video will be Hockey related. Or very Liberal-inspired.”
