Catch Lion’s Share, Dog Food, Conditioner, Coward, and a mysterious secret band  at the annual Tibb’s Eve Punk Show this Saturday. Come out to the show, see all your friends who are home from the mainland for the holidays, and maybe catch a glimpse of punky santa. The show is free but donations for Bridges to Hope will be collected at the door.

Wyatt Hirschfeld Shibley & Adrian Howse

Musicians Wyatt Hirschfeld Shibley and Adrian Howse are playing a fun free set downstairs in Rocket Bakery on Tibb’s Eve. Hirschfeld Shibley is breaking out a button accordion and ukulele, he’ll be accompanied by Howse who’ll fill in the rhythm section with pots and pans. They’ll be doing one set of vaudeville classics and one set of Newfoundland folk numbers.

The holidays are the perfect time to take The Geek Bar up on their standing invitation hang out on Saturdays and put together some snail mail. The Bar provides cards and stationary along with postage and they’ll even get your letter or card to the post office for you!
