The East Coast Music Awards released the shortlists for their 2015 awards this morning, and Newfoundland has a fine showing across all genres.
In fact we’re up for 35 awards! (20 Music, 4 Fans’ Choice, 11 Industry), which puts us in second place behind Nova Scotia, who have a whopping lead at 101 award nominations (one might sense a bias, or one might infer Nova Scotians are more on the ball for submitting). Haligonian dance-rocker Rich Aucoin leads the pack with 6 nominations.
