I don’t think raw intelligence should be the criteria. There are plenty of stupid smart people, if you get my meaning. But I do like the idea of having to demonstrate at least some basic skills or knowledge or something. Unfortunately, I cant see such a scheme being workable. Reaching a consensus on what the test would involve would be impossible, let alone the other logistics.
Terrible idea.
The voters shouldn’t have to pass a test. Would be politicians should have to pass a test before running for office!!!!
