RPM Flashback: Just-for-Fun Hip Hop Albums That Were Actually Pretty Badass

2014′s RPM efforts are due on Friday. To remind challenge-takers why they’re torturing themselves, we’re posting about past RPM albums all week. Part of what makes the RPM Challenge so great is that sometimes, some people step outside of their standard genres to try out a new one. For fun, or to be dead serious. Like 2013’s Fish Easy and 2012’s Pinwermz, both collaborations among friends / a couple.

Fish Easy were (are?) Matthew “The Beat MD” English, Sarah “Essie Punch” Blackmore, Nathan “Spadge” Day, Allie “Duff McGee” Duff.

“The Best Night Ever”

“Running in Place”

Pinwermz were (are?) … top secret. AKA, MC Lace Sleevz & POX

“The Anthem”

“SexySummerCity”
