We’re nearing the end of National Wildlife Week, but how well do we NL-ers know what’s out there in our famed great outdoors? Newfoundland and Labrador is home to more than 20,000 wild species. Could you ID even 20? We have 27 endangered species, could you name even 2?
In a scanty little Wildlife Week press release, our Minister of Fisheries and Land Resources said “We are lucky to live in a province where most of us can walk outside and be immersed in nature on a daily basis.” True, but do we even know what’s out there in the real world anymore? Would we care more about it if we did? Find out with this 15-question quiz.
