Join us The Designers on March 2nd for the Atlantic Canadian premiere screening of the documentary GRAPHIC MEANS. The film explores graphic design production before everything went digital — from linecaster to photocomposition, and from paste-up to PDF.
It’s a fun look back that helps us understand where we are headed. Seeing that women were severely under represented in film production, director Briar Levit chose to work with an entirely female crew on Graphic Means.
“It’s going to be a lot of fun, a special night for design nerds, the local marketing community, and enthusiasts alike,” the organisers promise.
The Designers are using the ticket sales from this evening to fund a bigger event in May. Last May, they brought Aaron Draplin to town, to the delight of graphic designers all across St. John’s. They will announce this year’s event at the screening of Graphic Means.
