MUN Botanical Garden
Orchids are very popular houseplants, but they do require special care. In this introductory course, Todd Boland will explain all you need to know about growing orchids as houseplants. Topics will include: light levels, temperatures, water needs, fertilizing, potting media and repotting, along with the different types of orchids suitable to grow as houseplants. Todd will also demonstrate how to transplant an orchid. Participants are invited to bring along a plant to transplant. This workshop will take place indoors.

Format: PowerPoint Presentation and demonstration of orchid repotting.
Registration: $35.00 – Pre-registration is required. Space is limited.
