With proceeds going to the Autism Society of NL, tonight’s 4-act Fundraiser is the place to be tonight at 7pm, at Rocket on Water Street.
The main act is a visiting band called Ash & Bloom. They’ve been described as a modern day Simon & Garfunkel. In 2013, the band joined singer-songwriter Justin Hines on the epic “Vehicle of Change Tour.” The two acts travelled over 20,000 kms across North America … and 100% of ticket sales from each show went back to local charities and the band successfully helped raise funds and awareness in each city they visited. They’re at it again here in town tonight.
Some great local talent will warm the stage, including to Borealis Music Prize finalists, Nick Ryan and Megan Marshall, as well as Nichole Stryde.
