SiriusXM’s Top Comic Competition has narrowed its search for Canada’s top comic down to 24 Canadians, three of whom are locals.
Their humour has gotten them as far in this career-boosting competition as it can get them. Now they need your support. After watching their performances, you can vote for your favourite here: https://topcomic.siriusxm.ca.
(Worth saying: their comedy, not a random vote, should be what moves them forward, shouldn’t it? Or maybe this is the competition’s way of finding out which local comedian St. John’s supports the most?)
Whichever of these three local comedians gets the most votes between now and July 29th will be flown to Toronto to perform at the SiriusXM TOp Comic finale (at Just for Laughs Festival), for a shot at $15,000 and Top Comic honours. Below are videos from Newfoundland’s 3 semi-finalists.
