At the conference, former U.S. Vice President Al Gore and other prominent environmentalists will get participants up to date on the latest developments in climate science, and provide training on how to get other people involved the movement to stop climate change.
“I want the treatment to feel a little bit like Instagram or Snapchat. I want it to feel like today’s youth and be relatable to today’s youth,” Gamberg explained.“…I want it to be watchable like Internet media is watchable so it will be a quick moving short film with a lot of quick cuts.”
“We get together and do things like butcher a lamb or make sausages. We all work together to make something, then we eat it and share any knowledge we have about the food with everyone at the table,” McCarthy explained.
Canada, It’s Complicated is a satirical revue of the history of Canada. The play takes a close look at the stories we tell ourselves about Canada, and the stories about Canada that often get overlooked.
“I’m hoping that my vulnerability, which I believe is my greatest strength, will help other people and especially children who are struggling and feel like they don’t have a place to fit in. I’m trying to carve out that space for them and for me.”
