Getting Outside
Natural History Hike and Art Activity
Saturday 2:00-4:00pm @ Manuels River
Join guides from the Manuels River Interpretation Centre on a short hike along the river followed by a sketching and watercolour activity at the Centre. Spend a crisp afternoon outside, then cozy up with your sketchbook and maybe make some new friends. The event is free, pre-registration is suggested as there is limited space, but walk-ins are welcome if there are open spots.

Saturday & Sunday 10:00am-4:00pm @ The Royal St. John’s Regatta Boathouse
The Alexis Templeton Studio is hosting a pop-up ceramics exhibit in the St. John’s Regatta Boathouse this weekend. The exhibit will feature hand crafted, completely functional dinner and serving ware by local and international ceramics artists.
Boccia Ball
Try It Day
Saturday 2:00pm-4:00pm @ Easter Seals House
Easter Seals is hosting a Try It Day for Boccia Ball, which the organization describes as “…the most inclusive game played by people of all abilities.” It’s a cross between lawn bowling and curling, played with leather balls on a gym floor.
