21 Days of Local RPMs: One Last Not-to-Miss Gem from Evan J.M. Smith

Man on

Every weekday in March we’ll be posting some of the RPM Challenge albums you all recorded in February …

“I finally completed a solo RPM! I’ve participated in the RPM challenge over the past several years with my good buddy Nik Hayward. This year I wanted to branch off on my own and give it a go. Over the past several years I have written a lot of songs (and half songs) that have never really been recorded. so I decided this February would be the perfect time to revisit some of those songs and write a couple new ones. I recorded the album on the last two nights of February. a classic RPM procrastination, haha. I’m really happy with how the tracks came out, and the overall feel of the record. This RPM was a blast! For any of those people who were on the fence about recording an rpm, and didn’t, I would strongly suggest recording one next year. And hey, who says it has to be February to record an awesome little record of your own.” – Evan
